I trained at Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, gaining my AGSM diploma and being awarded prizes.

My playing career has encompassed opera, ballet, symphony and chamber orchestras, chamber music and many recitals including London's Wigmore Hall and St Martin-in-the-Fields.

I am an experienced teacher and coach and have tutored oboists at Dartington International Summer School.

I am the author of 'Oboe - A Reed Blown in the Wind' and 'Puffit's Oboe Pocket-ized Problem Solver'.

I currently teach privately in Torquay, Devon and London NW3 and have vacancies in both areas. I can loan a student instrument to beginners. My experience has covered all ages and stages but I particularly enjoy starting new pupuils.

I live mainly in South Devon, visiting London regularly, so restrict London teaching to adult pupils or those who do not require weekly lessons.
