Bonjour! I am a qualified French teacher with many years of teaching experience in the UK, I have QTS and I hold a current CRB check.

I am friendly, approachable and enjoy working as a teacher. I can work as a one-to-one tutor or in a classroom.

I have experience teaching French from Primary to A Level in schools across the UK. At Secondary level, I have worked with the following exam boards: WJEC, Edexcel, AQA and OCR although I have specialised in AQA for the past two years.

For businesses, I can teach Business French, IT French or French for holidays. I have experience working as a translator in sectors such as IT, Banking and Finance and Legal.

Lessons are tailored to individual requirements. The first lesson is free. During the first lesson, we will assess your level and define targets for us to work towards. We will determine whether you require one hour lessons or longer.

I use a variety of teaching materials and for Languages, my lessons typically cover the 4 skills: Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. This depends on your requirements, i.e. should you need a particular emphasis on speaking or writing for GCSE/AS/A Level, this can also be done.

I have very high expectations of my students and make sure that they understand that they are committing to do their work.

Please contact me to discuss your requirements.

Services

THE SMALL PRINT

The first lesson is free.
Lessons are charged per hour then per 15 minutes' increment.
I usually teach at my house. There will be an extra charge to cover travel expenses and time if you require tutoring on your premises.
If you cannot attend, please inform me at least 24 hours in advance, so you do not lose your lesson fee.
I will require to meet the parents of students who are under 18 to discuss tutoring.
