Media Box tutoring
I was hired as a facilitator by Vanishing Rites who were running a Media Box Scheme in Bristol. The scheme set out to work with three groups of teenagers and teach them how to record sound and take digital photographs. The sound and pictures were then edited together to create short photo-docs which were presented on DVD and on a website which can be seen here...

Animation production / tutoring
I worked with Spike Island in Bristol and the Meriton School for young mums to help produce a full stop motion animation based on a story written by teenagers attending the school.
The script and sound had been pre recorded as part of another workshop which they had already done.
My role was to produce a stop motion animation based on what they had given me and also teach and obtain input on the production of the animation from the teenagers who took part in the scheme.
The animation was produced in one month as requested and ended with a presentation of the film along with a short talk about animation to inspire the rest of the group about animation.
Workshop Tutor
I ran Animation workshops at the Wellspring Centre of Healthy living in Barton Hill, Bristol.
These workshops consisted of two types. One was a saturday Art club run by the centre where I would come in and run a 2 hour workshop with the children resulting in a short animated piece. The second type of workshop was a one week course in which a selected group of children would work with me and create a short animated film which would then be shown at the animation festival in Barton Hill.
I also ran Human Pixilation workshops at the Animation festival which was an animation hands on event
