Music degree and ABRSM grade 5 graduate with two years classroom/private teaching experience is available for private tuition in the following subjects -

My lesson plans are always geared towards my students and use professional notation software for my teaching aids. I believe learning music no matter what age or experience should be fun for all and take pride in helping people achieve their ambitions.

In this role I attend secondary schools/career fairs as part of a team to promote higher education through workshops/lecture/activities which can include games, pro active workshops and discussions.

With this role I assisted disabled students in and out of campus with their coursework by taking notes, hands on completion of coursework, helping out with their day to day activities and acting as a confidant.

Electric Guitar Tutor, Yamaha Music School Sutton Coldfield

Head guitar tutor teaching private and group classes of up to eight people from ages seven upwards. I taught up to intermediate standard following the Yamaha Guitar Encounters syllabus, prepared students for future examinations, wrote lesson plans detailing current and up coming lessons and liaising with parents in regards to students progress.

Bass Guitar/Deputy Tutor, Access to Music College Lincoln

Bass guitar tutor and deputy tutor teaching secondary school graduates upwards Rock School Grade 8 standard. My main role within the college was guiding the students through their bass guitar module as part of the syllabus but I also had the opportunity to deputise in musicianship, intermediate guitar and band project sessions. I also contributed towards marking assignments to go towards the student’s qualifications which were externally inspected by OFSTED.
