Piano Lessons in North London
My name is Michael O'Donovan and I’m a friendly and experienced piano teacher of all ages and abilities working in North London. I am able to travel to your house for piano lessons and teach a wide range of styles of piano including classical, jazz, rock, blues, pop, soul, funk, reggae - you name it. I also teach music theory, aural development, improvisation, and composition.

Lessons are student centred: I teach piano technique as a means to apply the natural abilities of your body to play piano with freedom and ease. It doesn’t matter if you have been taking lessons for a while or have never played piano before - I will have you or your child playing your favourite music in a short period of time.

A member of ABRSM, I can teach ABRSM Grades 1-8 (classical) and ABRSM Jazz Grades 1-5, as well as any other graded exams from other boards.

My rates are very reasonable:

30 Minutes Tuition £20
45 Minutes Tuition £25
60 Minutes Tuition £30
90 Minutes Tuition £40

Piano lessons may be divided up as required i.e. a 90 minute lesson may be 3 children studying piano for 3 thirty minute lessons or 2 forty five minute lessons.
