I'm a retired Head of English at a 11-18 Comprehensive school. I was educated at Cambridge and Leicester Universities and am at present doing a degree in Creative Writing at Nottingham University. I am a very flexible teacher and can adapt myself to many different types of students of almost any ability. I can use many styles of teaching, according to what best motivates particular students or groups of students.

My students usually come to my house for lessons but I will travel, as long as travelling time is paid for. I am paid in cash at each lesson, unless I am doing group teaching for an organisation.I need 24 hours notice for cancellation, otherwise the full price must be paid
