Myra Moreta
I began teaching guitar 10 years ago, while I was working on my Bachelor of Music in Composition. Since then I have taught private lessons as well as group lessons to students from ages 5 to 50.
I have also taught small and large group classes as well as music reading and theory classes. Young students get to choose the pieces they would like to play in addition to the material I provide. Students are encouraged to bring recordings of their favorite music to be transcribed for them so they can enjoy learning guitar. My adult students can choose their style of focus and music they would like to learn from Pop and rock to classical and world music.
I am very patient and love to see creativity. My students enjoy their lessons with regular performance and recording opportunities. My lessons are given in English or German.
In addition to my private teaching, I currently teach at KMS Musikschule (a state music school in Berlin) and I have taught for music schools such as Tom Lee School of Music, given workshops, and assisted in teaching for university students.

* The 30 minute lesson is specially recommended for younger students between the ages of 5 and 10 years. It is therefore, not offered for students above 10 years of age.
If you would like lessons to occur in your own home, an additional fee is added to the rate, depending on travel time and costs.
The following types contracts are offered: Monthly, Semester, Yearly, Per Lesson
Travel to your home is not available if you are on the Per Lesson payment plan. In that case, the lessons are taught in the Neukoelln Studio. I have 2 cats, just in case you are allergic!
