Basketry is my one of my life's greatest passions and I love teaching this artform to others. It's a very soothing, relaxing activity and provides a creative way to connect with Nature. My work is woven using Irish linen thread, pine needles and frequently incorporates stones and beads. My work has been exhibited internationally, been published in numerous magazines, newspapers and in 500 Baskets (Lark Books), won many prestigious awards and featured on the Discovery Channel. I currently teach basketry through community colleges, art centers and weaving conferences/guilds in the U.S. and Canada.
