15 years of experience as piano and theory teacher, examiner, concert pianist (member of the Ivory Duo Piano Ensemble), and lecturer. Former course Coordinator for HE Music at Canterbury College and Associate Tutor of Canterbury University. I teach at my private studio in Charlton, London (SE7; 5 mins on foot from Charlton Station). The studio operates with two teaching areas: one with two grand pianos (Boston Steinway and a Broadwood), and the other for younger learners with an Otto-Bach upright piano and a Clavinova Yamaha piano. Student recitals are organized twice yearly. Preparation for graded exams and auditions. Special method for adult beginners. I incorporate elements of F.M. Alexander technique in dealing with performance anxiety issues and technical problems.
