Hi,

I have studied Acting and Drama for over 14 years. I gained my diploma level in eaching drama when I was 16. I studied Performing Arts at A-Level gaining the highest mark in the year and went on to study Drama and English Lit at University. I developed my skills further studying acting in LA at the TVI School of Acting, upon my my return to the UK I taught drama and acting for 2 and 1/2 years to children and adults-ages ranging from 3-24. I studied at RADA on a two week Contemporary drama course. I live in London and have been a member of the Actors Centre for over a year. I love to teach drama and acting.

Experience:
-Lead role of Georgie in ‘The Séance’
-I will be filming this September
-The film will be filmed in Pine Wood Studios with Ivory towers Entertainment Ltd
-Recently became a member of The Actors Centre
-I have been taking classes at The Actors Centre since August.

2008 Short film ‘Lillie’
-Co-star ‘Sonia’
-Filmed 16th of July 2008 in The Albert Docks. The film won the judges vote of best film out of ten films.
-Film is currently playing in various North West Film festivals.
2006-2008: Drama Workshop, Empire Theatre - Liverpool
- Participated in a ‘Reading Shakespeare’ Course performed scenes from ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ as ‘Titania’ and ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ as ‘Ursula’
- Worked as part of a theatre-workshop, to devise & perform this challenging, small-cast, experimental piece.
- Developed my devising and group skills
- Prior to this, devised and performed (as ‘Helen’) ‘Road’ (Jim Cartwright)
- In this interpretation of ‘Road’ we explored the use of improvisation and non-verbal communication to heighten the realism of the work
-08/2007 RADA
- I took a two week Contemporary Modern Theatre course.
- I developed my skills and understanding of scripts, monologues, theatre techniques and acting.
-I performed a monologue in the Jerwood Vanbrugh Theatre that I had worked on for two weeks and I was awarded a Rada Certificate for completing the course.
- 06/2006-current: Drama Teacher, YULA Drama Group - Liverpool
- YULA - Young Undiscovered Liverpool Actors, Theatre Group
- Teaching undiscovered acting talent aged 11-18, with a range of abilities
- Responsible for up to 20 children per class – working on: improvisation; monologue; dialogue; the Stanislavski method; the Brecht style.
- Co-ordinated and directed performances of ‘Adrian Mole’, ‘Blood Brothers’ and various improvised productions
Feb 2005-March 2002- The TVI Actors Studio
-I spent three months in L.A. studying drama and business.
-I took classes in monologues work, duologue work, improvisation, acting for television, acting for film, marketing yourself as an actors, interpretation of text, sight reading and we studied memory recall acting in depth.
-I grew as an actor and performer, I learnt so much about my craft and felt it took my training to a new level.
-2002-2005: Lancaster University Theatre Group
- During my BA studies, I worked on, devised, directed & performed in several works including:
- ‘Dorian Grey’ Our own interpretation based on the work by Oscar Wilde & influenced by the method of Steven Berkoff
- ‘Popcorn’ (Ben Elton) – performed as ‘Farrah Delimitri’;
- Original group-devised pieces: ’24 Frames Per Second’ (ensemble piece); ‘Hyper Reality’ (inspired by TV show ‘Spaced’ (Channel4);
- ‘Spurt Of Blood’ (Antonin Artaud) Directed and staged managed); ‘Company’ (Stephen Sondheim) Stage managed)
-2001: The Old Vic Theatre, London
- Devised & performed in ‘D’Ark’, which won ‘Sri Sathya Sy’ National Drama Competition
