My creative company, Young Bards, offers innovative, exciting and inspirational creative writing workshops, short residencies and programmes for schools and after-school clubs in Liverpool, Wirral and the surrounding areas. Literacy tuition is also available for primary aged children.
Using a variety of approaches and props, tailored to suit the participating school's teachers and learners, we encourage children to explore the world of words around them and provide them with the tools and techniques to become confident and imaginative writers and storytellers.

I am a fully qualified and experienced primary school teacher with a specialism in English Literature and Communication. As a creative practitioner and teacher I have been involved in many community and school based projects. I am also a published poet and have had articles I have written printed in arts publications.
