Since I was young I had a good feeling with craft works in particular with bookbinding. Then I decided to approach different aspects of book from editing to binding.
Now I run My own bookbinding business (FESTINALENTE BOOKS) together with my partner.
I think that teaching bookbinding, and in this way sharing my craftsmanship, is something very important to keep craft works always alive.
All the lessons will be held at FESTNALENTE BOOKS' workspace.

I moved in London from Italy to widen my bookbinding and book conservation knowledges.
I studied at the London College of Communication and I did the "Graduate Certificate in Bookbinding an Book Restoration" with Terry Buckley and, at the same time, I started to work in different binderies.
Apprenticeship

January, 1995 - December, 1999
For 5 years, since 1995 to 1999 worked as part-time bookbinder.
During the following years, I was more into book publishing & editing, graphic design and computing, but still carring on with craft bookbinding works.

Registration Fees
Deadline
In order to be accepted, candidates must pay the course fee before the last date for payment indicated.
Refunds
For cancellation or non-attendance of a course, the following rules apply:
a) for an unjustifiable failure to attend a course, the total registration fee is forfeited;
b) if a cancellation is made less than three weeks before the beginning of a course, I have the right to retain one third of the course fees;
c) If, for any reason, the course has to be cancelled, the registration fee will be fully refunded. I cannot be held responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses.
Other costs
1. Materials
Leather, parchment, wood, gold, special papers and other extras will be billed depending on use. The cost of current material is included in the course fees.
2. Tools
The cost of the purchase of personal tools is the participants’ responsibility.
3. Insurance
The responsibility for insurance against accident and civil responsibility lies with the participants.
