Professional and dedicated London-based clarinet, saxophone and music theory tutor, teaching in London and online, with experience performing across the UK and teaching musicians of all ages and abilities. Graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and the University of Manchester.

I have taught privately since 2010, and have taught in music centres across London since 2016. I teach at the Wandsworth Music Academy and Pembroke Academy of Music. My teaching work includes tutoring beginners up to post grade 8, adults and children, one-to-one and whole classrooms, teaching instrumental lessons and music theory, and coaching youth orchestras. I am employed to teach the clarinet, saxophone, flute, recorder and theory in schools, music centres and for my own private practice. I am also an experienced online teacher.

I am also busy as a performer, playing the clarinet, saxophone and flute in orchestras, chamber groups, big bands and theatre bands.

I am formally trained in performance, improvisation, composition, harmony & counterpoint, orchestration, musical theory, history, analysis & aesthetics.
