I have been working with voice and singing for over 20 years; in theatre, education, health, business, the community and privately.
I run weekend, day or weekly singing and voice workshops, lead choirs, offer private one-to-one singing lessons and voice coaching. I run voice care sessions for teachers and others who rely upon their voice professionally.
I teach songs from around the world, acappella harmony, natural voice, song-writing, vocal technique, voice care, voice related breath and bodywork.
I work in health with care staff, with older people (including those who have dementia) and in hospitals and mental health settings with all age groups.

Grangetown Community Choir
The choir is open to anybody - all are welcome and no special experience or knowledge is needed. Everything is taught by ear; from funky rhythm to gentle exquisite heart song, there is something in it for everyone. Each term we will sing a broad range of harmony songs from different eras, styles and vocal traditions.
There has been a huge amount of research in recent years about how good singing is for you - e.g. it can improve breathing, it releases endorphins (that produce a feeling of well-being!) and it can calm, relax and energise all at the same time!
Joining a choir is a way to develop new skills, make new friends and find out how good it feels to sing out with other people.
The choir is led by Pauline Down who has recently moved from North Wales where she was leading three thriving community choirs. Her enthusiasm and relaxed manner are renowned for creating an atmosphere of fun and a sense of community.
The choir sessions take place at Cornwall Street Church Hall, CF11 6SR, most Mondays from Monday 17th February, from 7.30pm – 9.30pm
