I'm a full-time technical author and online Help developer with more than 26 years' experience. Thanks to the contributions that I've made to many Help-related online forums and newsgroups, I was awarded the title of Help MVP (Most Valuable Professional) by Microsoft between the years 2003 and 2006.

My particular area of specialisation is the development and deployment of Help files in HTML Help 1.x (.chm) format. However, I also have considerable experience of building Help files in many other formats: WinHelp (.hlp), Microsoft Help 2.0 (.HxS), browser-based Help, and more.

I am happy to offer free advice to anyone who needs assistance in designing and building online Help.
