2nd Dan Black Belt I first started taking lessons in freestyle karate in Manchester 2000.After trying many forms of martial arts i finally found one that i enjoyed. I started entering tournaments straight away,at first i came away winning nothing,but just gaining the experience was good enough for me. After a couple of years of hard training it all finally paid of when i became the EMA(european martial arts) champion,and then nothing could stop me!
I decided to move back to Wales with my family.After a few months back i noticed that there was not alot of activities around here for children to do.It was then i decided to open my own karate club.
The club has now been open for 3 yrs. It is a mixture of boys and girls all different ages.

We are based in hilltop log cabin ebbw vale gwent / next to hilltop club.
we are a member of the C.M.A.A (cobra martial arts association ) witch is based in Manchester.
the aim of our club is to help people learn a high level of self defense, respect for themselves and others around them, confidence and to work and train as part of a team plus a whole lot more.
