Rajan, the founder and lead trainer of Satya Yoga Mandir, is certified by the worldwide Yoga Alliance as Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher for the 500 Hours Standard (E-RYT 500). He has completed both his Yoga Siromani (Teacher of Yoga) and Yoga Acharya (Master of Yoga) as an internationally qualified Master of Yoga, from The Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwanthari Ashram in India and also trained in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga from Pattabhi Jois' Ashtanga Yoga Institute, Mysore and also with Sri. Jaiprakash of Mysore.

Rajan has a very good knowledge of human anatomy and physiology and he completed the Certificate Programme for Masseurs (Rejuvenation Therapy) in KITTS, Government of Kerala and Diploma in Ayurvedic Nursing and Panchakarma Therapy from Kerala Healthcare Centre & Paramedical Institute in Kerala. He also certified in Reiki Healing from Integrated Healing & Training Centre, Kottayam in Kerala.

He is a former yoga teacher in the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre. He used to assist the Yoga Teachers Training Courses in Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwanthari Ashram. He served as Ayurvedia Therapist for Somatheeram Research Institute & Ayurveda Hospital in Kerala and as Senior Therapist in Ayush Bhavan Ayurvedic Resort, Goa in India, that helped him deepen his knowledge and experience in Yoga and Ayurveda.
