I am a Language graduate from Newcastle university and minored in music. I have a great interest in music and guitar playing. I started playing 10 years ago and from the very beginning was involved in a blues rock act touring my local area as well as international venues. Influenced by Guthrie Govan, Derek trucks, Warren Haynes, Eddie Van Halen, among others, rock and blues have been, and still are, my passion for a long while, but I am still very interested in all types of music, branching out, particularly, into jazz, hard rock and fusion music.
I have been involved in many local groups, ranging from rock and blues to jazz groups, even metal groups.
I have previously attended a Popular Music course at Newcastle College.
I have amassed 2-3 years of proper teaching experience at various studios as well as privately.
My experiences have given me strong improvisational and band/group skills.
I will provide friendly and non-intimidating lessons for all ages and all playing levels.
