I've worked in the Retail sector since 1974, initially working with Lotus 123 and taking up MS Excel 97 during 1999 and lately MS 2007.
I've built many applications using these platforms, applications which are still being used today in a £bn retail organisation.
I was a Project Manager / Management Consultant working on projects such as Retail Staff Planning, Budget generation, Workload Management, Work Process Redesign and many more. MS Excel is the cornerstone of my computer modelling and VBA is the language I use to create applications.
In my spare time I love the outdoor life. Going to the gym (weight training), Walking or powerboating offshore.

Resource Planning Manager
I've Project Managed many Staff Deployment or Resource Planning initiatives. Designed and wrote applications which went on to support these projects. The applications ranged from the management of Staff Planning, Absence Planning, Productivity, Plan Quality Monitoring, Staff Workload Performance etc. Built Management Reporting for ALL levels from Showroom to Boardroom.
Computer models above were built in MS Excel (97 to 2007) and controlled in VBA utilising MS 2005 SQL for database sourcing.
