Qualified from The Regent Academy of Fine Arts. I'm a Professional soft furnisher with over 15 years experience. Specialising in bespoke window dressings, i.e; curtains, blinds etc as well as cushions, home linen / accessories. My workshops are short, lasting no more than 2 days - patient with new and nervous learners! Aim is for students to produce an item at the end of a course / workshop.
Curtains - learn the tricks of the trade and produce work to very high standards - you'll never pick up a pair of ready made curtains again!
Workshops / courses can also be tailored to learner's requirements; if you have a project you would like to embark on but not brave enough to take the plunge alone, then I can arrange for a one to one lesson, where I can assist you in bringing your ideas to life.

Basic Curtain Making Workshop
Course content: How to construct a sample size curtain incorporating all the sewing techniques for a full sized curtain - fabric calculation - suitable fabric selection for window dressings - appropriate lining
Learners will need to bring along a basic sewing kit as well as a metre of fabric and lining.
A basic sewing kit includes:

2 mts pencil pleat curtain tape
