Come to my Shoe Making Workshops and learn to make your own pair of wearable leather shoes, sandals, flip flops or Merino Sheepskin slippers. Essential for all shoe lovers and creative people wanting to learn a new skill.

I spent 4 years studying Footwear at Cordwainers College which is a small Leather College in East London who's alumni include the likes of Jimmy Choo, Emma Hope, Georgina Goodman, Patrick Cox, amongst many, many others.

During the Shoe Making Workshops we spend 1 or 2 days making either leather shoes, Merino Sheepskin Slippers or Leather sandals which are all wearable. The One day workshops include just the construction of the shoe, the Two day workshops (only available as a one to one session) also include how to design a shoe, pattern making and sewing. I teach the traditional "hand lasting" process which is the method from which most shoes are made it is very interesting to discover what actually goes into making a shoe. The workshops are held in my home in small groups of 4, however if you and a group of friends want to do it together we can increase the group size to suit. There is also an option of booking me to come to your own suitable location (prices for this vary depending on class size and location). Great idea for birthdays, alternative Hen groups or makes an original gift for the person who has everything!

If you love shoes and like to be creative and have a go at learning a new skill in a relaxed atmosphere please contact me for more details.
