Then you've come to the right place! At Uxbridge Guitar Lessons, I specialise in taking you (or your children) from complete beginners to any level you want to be at, whether you eventually want to play in a band, write your own songs or just play for fun in the evenings on your own.

Lessons are conducted at a pace that is appropriate for you. I know what to teach you, and more importantly, when; so that you are not overloaded with new information. Right from the very first lesson, you'll be able to play something on your guitar, from there on we will gradually build up your skill level, integrating new skills along the way. You'll learn music theory as and when is necessary - but in a practical way that you can actually apply to the guitar. If you want to learn how to write your own songs, you can learn how chords work with each other and how to choose sets of chords that will work together and how to use them to create different moods.

If you want to learn to play in a band, we can go through training techniques, how to teach yourself songs effectively on your own, how to improvise and how to communicate with other musicians.

If you want to play on your own at home for fun, we can learn new songs and you can reach the level where you can teach yourself music on your own, without my help! I can take your children to the level where they can play with their friends, improvise, write their own music and perform (if they want to).
