Shira is a fully trained yoga teacher with Sivananda (accredited in 2002) in Kerala, India and uses some breathing to ground the person having done sadhana intensive course also with Sivananda (2005). Shira has attended a 2 week course with John Scott in Astanga Yoga (2005) and did a teachers training for power yoga in India (accredited in 2011). Shira has attended Astanga yoga with Hamish Hendry and also done some shadow yoga. Shira maintains a regular daily practice and once a year attend a yoga retreat in India.

Shira can teach both Vinyasa flow and also Hatha yoga. She regularly does workshops in yoga.

Shira has worked and continues to work as a yoga teacher at various clubs Champneys, Holmes Place and Esporta, Fitness first in London, Portobello green fitness club. Shira is a fully certified yogi in Ashtanga and Hatha practice and a long term meditator. Yoga is a way of life for Shira, runs yoga retreats to India with Ayurveda and Vedic chanting and distant healing. Shira is also through free spirit doing a retreat in Egypt in Januray 2012 and in India in December 2011.

I am the catalyst for another person being 100% committed to their lives, this passion comes through in my yoga. I am not just another yoga teacher, it is very much who I am a yogini. I have partaken with the vedic swamis in India during the Kumbh Mela of 2010.

I also run classes & workshops in meditation on a 1 to 1 basis and in small groups around Notting Hill and Holland Park.
