Siobhan Stone

Hi, my name's Siobhan and I'm a recent music graduate with a particular interest in music education. I'm a creative and friendly tutor, experienced working with both children and adults, and complete beginners up to advanced players. I've been teaching flute and piano for four years, and I'm currently completing a teaching diploma from the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM).

I often play duets and improvise with my pupils, because collaborative music making can be one of the most enjoyable aspects of learning an instrument. I'm an advocate of student-centred learning, and I like encouraging my pupils to take their own direction in terms of repertoire and creative decisions. I teach aural skills, music theory, and history alongside performance, so my students receive a complete music education.

I can travel to your home, or teach from my flat near Baker Street. Lessons are £30/ hour (plus travel costs, dependent on location).
