Portrait Drawing and Painting
A 10 week mixed ability course where you can learn portrait drawing and painting according to your level. The class is split into 2 groups (beginners and intermediate), with beginners starting at 6.30, and intermediate at 7.00.
You will learn, among other topics, how to block in a portrait, developing a likeness, and how to mix flesh colours accurately.
You can choose which level you want to be on,and the course is written to ensure that at least half the course is aimed at dealing with individual learning goals.
Resources required: 2B, 4B, 6B pencils, A3 cartridge paper, a set of synthetic paint brushes, a set of Daler Rowney System 3 Acrylics (introduction set) - or other suitable set of colours.
Paint in Oils Like an Old Master
We'll cover different methods and approaches of oil painting, based on the methods used by the Old Masters. We'll look at the methods of Monet, Rembrandt, Chardin among others. It's recommended that you have some drawin experience prior to the course, but it's not essential.

Anyone Can Draw and Paint
A mixed level class. All welcome , regardless of experience. the teaching is guided by the ability of each learner, so everyone is taught at appropriate to their own level of experience.
