Tom has experience of many genres of wind playing including orchestral, wind band, marching band, wind quintet and other small ensembles as well as building a repertoire of solo works of which he has performed many infront of large concert audiences.

Over the past few years, Tom has had the honour of being able to assist enthusiastic amateur bands during their training weekends and have been asked to judge for competitions by the Traditional Youth Marching Bands Association (TYMBA).

He still studies to hone his own personal skills by receiving lessons from professional orchestral clarinettists from orchestras such as the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
