Toni Peers

I teach Enamelling, Encaustic art, Flamework/Lampwork (making glass beads) and Feltmaking as well as less specific crafts such as card making and junk modelling. I run workshops for individuals as well as groups such as the elderly, hospice patients and children's groups such as brownies or guides.

I also run craft parties for children and adults - for example for children I might do a themed Princess party, making tiaras, playing princess themed games. For adults I might do a hen party activity where the group make jewellery or costumes to wear on the big night out.

I have a qualification in teaching adults - FAETC level 1. I am part of the encaustic art teachers network and I am a member of the Guild of Essex Craftsmen for Enamelling and Encaustic Art. I teach at a variety of locations in and around Essex, including Hylands House, Abberton Reservoir, Colchester, East Hanningfield Reservoir, nr Chelmsford and Glass from the Past at Barleylands Craft village. I also fun tailored classes in my garden studio in Colchester. My handmade items are available to purchase at Guild Fairs or by private commission.
