Graduate in Chemical Physics offering lessons in GCSE Maths and Science at client's homes. Can also do KS3 Maths and Sciences and A-level Chemistry, Physics and Maths.I tutor privately now but previously shared advertising costs with another tutor as Medway and North Kent Tutors.
Experience in industry as software engineer and IT Trainer. Can offer basic Windows and MS Office tuition, but am not a Web expert. I have a C&G 7303 and Trinty Cert TESOL and a current DBS and CRB certificate. I also have a diploma in Vacuum Technology for Electron Tube Engineering. Between November 2013 and February 2014, I lectured part-time at East Kent College on the Organic Chemistry and the Medical Physics Techniques units of an Applied Science BTEC.

Tutor since 2003. Good results, patient and helpful. I tend to be guided in my tuition by both the wishes and needs of the student and the informed opinions of the parents and the feedback from the school attended.

Most recently (January to May 2017), as well as tutoring my current cohort of private students, I was working part-time in the Additional Educational Needs department of Norton Knatchbull school assisting students on a one-to-one basis with their Maths and Science GCSEs through Tutors Doctors.

Tuition only offered at client's homes - in which case there must be at least one other adult present if student is a minor - or appropriate public places such as libraries.

My quoted rates are for 1 hour lessons in the local area (up to 5 miles around Whitstable). I have to charge something for petrol if travelling further than this, particularly to South Canterbury during the rush hour, but may be able to waive this for longer lessons. Contact me to discuss.

I do not offer free ‘taster’ lessons but can do an assessment for free combined with the first lesson, so charge for a one hour lesson but give one and a half hours of my time for that lesson, if desired. Please note, if you are in Essex, that is too far for me to travel.
