Xenia Demetriou
Xenia Demetriou BA(Hons), MA is an established photographer and educator working in diverse areas of photographic practice from portraiture and reportage, to corporate and travel with editorial work published worldwide. She is also the founder of Eye4Change, a not for profit Social Enterprise.
Xenia has taught a broad range of courses from City and Guilds, BTEC Foundation Art and Design, AS and A2 Photography and facilitated and delivered community arts projects and photography workshops to groups of all ages and abilities. She now brings this wealth of experience to offer her expertise to complete beginners and more advanced photographers who want to take their learning to the next level!

For the traveler at home and abroad, this workshop will provide you with a good foundation with which to explore your surroundings and to capture the essence of a place in time, with your own unique creative vision.
This intermediate level workshop, will consider both the technical and creative elements of an image when making the leap from taking holiday snapshots to creating travel photographs.
Tutor led assignments will put the theory into practice with tips and techniques along the way to inspire your journey.

The intermediate level can be taken once you have a sound knowledge of the manual controls of the camera and are ready
to explore photography’s infinite possibilities.
This workshop offers a more thematic approach visiting different aspects of photography and explores the principles of light and composition. With the tutor’s guidance assignment's will be set and undertaken by you to expand and extend your creativity so that you may begin to make photographs!

This digital and film based workshop is aimed at beginners who would like to get to grips with understanding the controls of the camera i.e. aperture, shutter speed, ISO, metering systems, and their manual application and also gain an introduction to light and composition.
The technical and creative skills learned will then be applied to a series of specifically developed exercises.
