my name is zac. i play guitar with The Proclaimers. When i'm not on tour i teach. i have over 15 years of tutoring experience and cater my lessons to the musical tastes of the individual.

what you need to know to play the music you want to play!

acoustic or electric, classic riffs, songs, chord and scale theory, improvisation and the tools to express and teach yourself.

based in the blues we move through rock, metal, jazz, classical, folk, pop to wherever you want to go.

i teach privately from home to beginners and more advanced players. i have taught HNC level guitar and music at The Academy of Music and Sound in Glasgow and have taught HND guitar at Perth College. i can also teach grades if required.

i also provide band workshops where i guide the participants in songwriting and playing as a band. this is done as part of a team so we can cover vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards and drums.
