Daifuku mochi is a delightful Japanese sweet that is commonly served as a dessert. It is easy to make at home with a few basic ingredients and tools. This dessert is soft and fluffy, much like a mochi cake. The difference between daifuku mochi and other types of mochi is that it does not have any filling inside. Instead, it has a layer of sweetened red bean paste or green tea powder on top. The outside is made with glutinous rice flour mixed with water and formed into balls, which are then steamed or fried to perfection.
