Irene Novoa

I was born in Madrid (Spain) in 1986.
Ever since I can remember I sang. And I could say that singing and listening to music, specially to the lyrics, has been for me the beginning of everything else.

In 2007 I moved to The Netherlands where I studied with Rachel Gould at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, and with Connie de Jong and Marianne Svasek in the World Music Academy of the Rotterdam Conservatory. During those years I had the opportunity to explore many different styles of music and folklore from all around the world.

I specialized myself in Brazilian, Latin and North Indian Classical music, finishing my Bachelor in 2011.

Since the body is the instrument of a singer, I like to combine on the lessons diverse methods of vocal technique and speech therapy, with relaxation, yoga or pilates exercises.
