Remrie Arrie
Young at the age of 5, my dad taught me how to drive his manual Chevy S10, by age 6 by my dad's request I drove his truck down the road to pick him up from the other side of a field he worked at.
A hop, skip, and a jump away at age 11 I was flying down the freeway in his lap, and by age 15 the time came to enter drivers ed and obtain a drivers license. At least for the sake of driving legally.
Fast forward to the exciting age of 22, of all places I taught myself how to ride a motorcycle in Los Angeles, CA. By far one of the most infamous cities where a pinch of road rage is served with every Starbucks.
A year later after a career shift, I re-entered drivers education to drive 72' long tractor trailers. I went to two different driving schools, got training on two different types of equipment, and now I drive nation wide for Swift Transportation. To which starting January 2012 I will be a mentor for new student drivers in the trucking industry.
While I am not a licensed instructor, whatever your age, or level of driving skills, I am very much able and willing to advise and mentor you through any questions to find solutions and be the safest, most effective driver you can be.
