Learn to throw on the Pottery Wheel
Location:
I will teach you the basics of throwing clay on the wheel, starting with getting the clay centred through to creating a simple, straight-sided pot - the basis for all other shapes in throwing. After this you may wish to nominate a type of shape you would like to try, which I will help you to achieve.
This session is an intensive lesson and is intended as an introduction to wheel-throwing which will lead onto further learning.
I am a trained ceramicist and have a Masters from the Royal College of Art. I have been throwing for 12 years and it is the process I use to make my own ceramic work.
