Singing Naturally

My approach to singing is based on the scientific fact that everything is energy. The human voice is not exempt from this. Singing naturally is about lifting the veil of illusion that you may have shrouded around your sound to reveal something that has always been there. The great thing about this 'method less' approach is that you cannot get it wrong. There is nothing to get wrong and there is nothing to get right. It’s about stepping outside of what social conditioning has lead us to think a beautiful voice is, and expressing what is there anyway. Ironically when we do this, a depth so rich is uncovered, because we are not trying to please anyone, that the voice takes on a life of it’s own. You probably sang as a child and thus have it hard wired into your brain circuitry. Our job is to incorporate the dimension of the imagination as a distraction to help you avoid ‘trying to sing’ and give you direct access to the true voice that you were born with.
In my experience, you cannot separate singing from the singer and therefore when you embark on the journey of singing, it will always uncover the truth about yourself. Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and reveal the diamond within? Being prepared to open up like this may push buttons at first but just by being willing to extent comfort zones little by little, the freedom that this will bring to your performance and voice will be worth it
