Accounting - lets make it easy

I have been an accountant for 30 years, although I approached this site as a photographer.

This will be useful for anyone self employed, or running the accounts as treasurer of a club or society.

It is also useful to know, as you can speak with authority when looking at potential investments.
Percentages, markups, net profits can all be explained.

I will explain how to keep track of your accounts using analysis techniques to make it so simple you will be an accountant at the end of the day. A computer makes the arithmetic more accurate but we can show the principles on paper if you do not have one. Or I can demonstrate on my laptop.

You will understand your balance sheet and create a profit statement. I will also explain how vat works and how you are taxed if you wish.
