Act One Drama Studio has successfully run acting classes and workshops in Sheffield since August 1994. Our goal is to give professional knowledge to our students by employing trained professionals.
Our policy is for everyone to have fun and learn at the same time using acting techniques all can enjoy. Weekly drama classes are for any child or adult student wanting to improve their acting ability and social skills, from beginner to drama school entry.
2 hour drama classes for 6-11 year olds, 11-16 year olds, 16-19 year olds, Adult class.
Improvisation, mime, stage & screen techniques, working with text, shows & productions, LAMDA examinations & festivals.
All staff are CRB checked & first aid trained.

Group Classes
Adult Drama Class - Act One Drama Studio
Classes continue with introducing basic drama & acting techniques with the emphasis on building confidence through teamwork, games, improvisation and freeing the imagination.
Following weeks will cover characterisation, voice and breathing, an introduction to script & building towards a performance.
All adults are welcome!
Whether this is your first time or it has been a while since you did any drama, it's a great way to build your confidence and learn whilst having fun!
Each student is encouraged to learn new skills & techniques to help develop their acting as an individual, as well as work with a group to reach their full potential.
