George Rego

My name is George Rego, I am the owner and chief instructor of the longest running school in the Palm Coast, Florida & Flagler County, Florida community.

At our school, Jukido Academy, we teach two forms of authentic Japanese martial arts in which the emphasis is always on realistic self-defense (as opposed to treating martial arts as a sport). The arts we teach are jujtisu and karate - the specifics styles being Jukido Jujitsu and Kokondo Karate. These arts are sanctioned by the International Kokondo Association (IKA). Our school is the Florida representative of the IKA Honbu Dojo (World HQ).

I am a direct student of the founder of the Kokondo system of martial arts and have dedicated my life to the preservation of these arts for the betterment of all those who pursue their study in these authentic forms of martial arts.

As the Chief Instructor of the longest running school in the area, we've seen many schools come and go since our establishment in 1999. I'm thankful to have such a large and loyal group of dedicated students who recognize that we are a school first and a business second. As such, you'll never experience the "cookie cutter" approach to "studio" martial arts (contracts, updgrades to various 'clubs', expensive equipment, flashy uniforms, etc.).
