Mentoring for Novelists

One-on-one feedback and guidance for those who are working on a novel-length piece of work. Feedback is provided on sections of your manuscript via email, with general advice as well as specific constructive criticism being provided. All genres are welcome, though I am particularly enthusiastic about: children's and young adult fiction (all genres), women's fiction, science fiction, and historical fiction set post-c.1650. My goal is always to ensure that writers are writing what they want to write to the best of their abilities, rather than attempting to write something because 'it will sell' or because 'it will impress'. (That being said, I will offer advice on how to best pitch a novel in a query letter to an agent or publisher, where appropriate.)
