Physics Tuition - GCSE, IGCSE AS and A2 - Harrow, Brent and Ealing

I am able to teach all AS and A2 modules. For the OCR examination board, I am able to teach the 'Nuclear and Particle Physics' and 'Cosmology' Module 5 options.

I am based in Harrow and am able to travel to most locations within Harrow, Brent and Ealing.

I will use the rest of this space to discuss my approach to tutoring.

There are two vital components to learning physics:

1)understanding the key concepts
2)being able apply these concepts to solve problems

I find that a concept driven approach to teaching, that is, going through the theories, laws and models before exploring practical applications, works best. Tutorials are exam focussed to the extent that past paper questions are discussed, where possible, to illustrate the ideas.

Physics is unquestionably a fascinating subject. Where else would you get to learn about how our world actually works; infact, how our universe works? Although my teaching is more geared towards 'passing the exam', the subject naturally lends itself to thought provoking discussions!
