How to play the ukulele complete beginners to advanced
Personalised tuition for adults & children
Coming for individual lessons is very different to coming to workshops as the tuition is tailored to your needs and interests - and you go at exactly the speed you want.
Not everyone feels comfortable in workshop situations or ukulele groups and they like to get some experience first before trying to play with others. Some have a specific event in mind like learning something to perform at a wedding or they might be performers who want to add the ukulele to their skills. Some want to learn a specific tune or technique. For all these reasons and many others, people come for solo lessons.
Children often do not get specific enough attention in school music groups and want to learn at a level more appropriate to them or may simply prefer learning in a more private and secure environment.
As a complete beginner you get detailed attention to how you are forming your playing habits and you learn good habits right from the off - whereas in workshops, details can get lost. But aside from the technical side you can pursue your own particular interests and try particular songs or pieces you like. There is a very wide range of styles for the uke from Classical to Country and Pop to the Blues and Folk.
You may want to learn in a pair or small group, and I can come to you if you're based locally to me in N1.You can choose to have individual lessons and pay as you go at £25 per hour or buy a block of six for £130. If you prepay you do not have to have a lesson every week but as it suits you (within a 3 month period).
Whatever you have in mind, get in touch and let's have a chat.
