If you’re giving a speech at a wedding, you’ll want to make it memorable, funny and well timed. This can be a challenge, because for most best man speeches, you’ve got to condense a whole lifetime of experiences and emotion into one punchy, entertaining speech.
An ideal wedding speech will be informative, funny and moving, all at once – now that’s a challenge! It can be a good idea to sit down with someone and decide what stories will make the cut, how they can be told, and do a few practice run-throughs.
The most important part of speech practice is getting feedback, where you can tweak and refine your best man speech so you know it’s going to work on the day.
