Curious Projects has an ambition to set up affordable studios for artists, craftspeople and designer-makers right here in Eastbourne. More than just working spaces, we want to create a platform for fostering collaboration, encouraging mutual support, and the cross-pollination of ideas across artistic disciplines.
The plan is to run the studios on a not-for-profit basis and we have found a good potential space. It would accommodate a community of around 15 artists, in a mix of self-contained spaces and one large semi-partitioned space (there is also a dark space). The space has plenty of natural light, loos, a kitchen area, wifi and is 5 minutes' walk from Eastbourne train station.
