Our Community Hub sits at the heart of our community and provides a vibrant and friendly meeting place for our very many regular residents and hirers.
It is a registered charity (registration No. 1140825) and a Company Limited by Guarantee (Company No: 07434417)
Blurton Community Hub serves the whole of Blurton and surrounding areas and is a multi-purpose venue, providing facilities for local residents and is home to a number of community run groups that provide activities for local residents, ranging from fun and exercises to information, support and learning. Other things we do here include.
• Help residents access information
• Provide a range of courses run by Adult and Community Learning
• Day time and evening activities such as Bokwa, keep fit and slimming world.
• Provide a neutral space for public meetings/debates
• Provide access to internet and IT for community groups
• Hire facilities for personal/private events
• Provide facilities for all sorts of exciting local activities to take place
• Take forward issues brought to our attention by the community
• Blurton Farm Residents Association.
The current use of the Hub is extensive with opening times ranging from ordinary day use to evening and weekend use. Since opening the footfall for the building is in access of 1000 visitors. Our service is continually monitored and evaluated via input from volunteers, our reception suggestion box and structured consultations that directly influence service delivery and provision.

There is a clear need for our facility not only for the community but also for our current tenant agencies that see the benefit of providing services to their clients from the Hub. It remains important, however, for us to retain a strong community presence in the building and we will continue to provide
