Music for Youth
Music for Youth is a national music education charity providing free access to performance and audience opportunities for young musicians across the UK through its annual season of festivals and concerts. The Music for Youth Season seeks to inspire, challenge, excite and educate, working annually with 100,000 young people.
REGIONAL FESTIVALS
February- April
Large-scale or intimate, these Festivals are open to anyone aged 21 or under in a group of 2 or more. There are no restrictions on style or experience and there are around 70 Festivals nationwide.
NATIONAL FESTIVAL
July, Birmingham
One of the major highlights in the music education calendar, the festival is packed with inspirational performances, workshops and conferences this six day Festival brings together over 12,000 of the country’s most exciting young performers.
SCHOOLS PROM
November, Royal Albert Hall, London
The most eclectic mix of musical styles performed by young people under one roof. Be amazed by inspirational performances from over 3,000 of the country’s finest young musicians and singers.
