The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts

My name is Pippa Lee and I'm the Principal of the Pauline Quirke Academy in Croydon. PQA is an exciting Performing Arts Academy offering classes in Drama&Comedy, Musical Theatre, and Film. We run every Saturday from 10am - 1pm at Wallington School for Girls and our classes are divided into three different age groups: Our Green Grp 6-9 yrs, our Blue Grp 10-12 yrs, and our Red Grp 13+ yrs. We offer excellent training in all aspects of the Arts and our teachers are all highly experienced in their field. They are all fully CRB checked and all have professional experience in the industry. I myself have over 10yrs of professional experience in the West End and Internationally and have taught children of all ages for many years. We all share a genuine passion for teaching, and the welfare and development of each child is of utmost importance to us. Our classes are structured, as well as being varied and fun - and it's wonderful to see each student grow in confidence and ability during their time with us! At the core of PQA’s philosophy is a belief that our students should really enjoy their time with us. Our modules are all about students having fun as we build their confidence and self-esteem, expand their imaginations and they learn valuable skills essential for everyday life. Work in the Performing Arts requires commitment and discipline and we also instil those values in our students so that everyone can work in a productive and mutually supportive atmosphere.
