Aimed at young people aged 11 and above, our workshops provide an opportunity for participants to experience engineering utilising a practical approach. This diverse learning style, allows young people to gain new skills whilst broadening their knowledge of fields of study and work.
Participating in our practical workshops improve future prospects. By learning through experience participants will gain an insight into life outside of normal academic study, which we hope will inspire them to become the engineers and entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
Our workshops are accessible and complement the education experience, allowing young people to use their creative minds and expand their skills.
Our research shows that while academic achievements are important, employability skills needed for success are just as important. Indeed, employers no longer pay for what young people know, but for what they can do with what they know.

We are able to provide one off bespoke workshops or a series of 4-6 sessions for much more advanced projects. These are tailored to suit your requirements.
* Audio Amplifier Beginners Workshop
The beginners workshops we provide are purely electronic based, the purpose is to teach students how to build a basic audio amplifying speaker. Participants follow an instruction list in order to build their very own product which they can take away at the end of the day!

Duration: 1-2 Hour One-Off Session

* Audio Amplifier Intermediate Workshops
Our intermediate workshops are excellent for keen participants or groups who love a challenge. These workshops use more complex circuits compared to our basic workshops, but the harder the challenge, the sweeter the reward and in this case the completed circuit gives extra features.

* Audio Amplifier Advanced Project
Our Audio Amplifier project is a short term initiative which spans over a whole day or a few weeks. Our aim is to work the project into the school curriculum or for external groups, provide a plan of achievements which are covered along the way. The project will cover every process from the circuit and casing design up to the finished project ready to market, hitting a great balance between theoretical knowledge and applied practicality.

Duration: One full learning day or 2 Hour Sessions over Four Week Period.

* Shelter/Tall Tower Challenge
A step away from electronics, our company has branched out towards new, creative solutions to engage students or groups in effective team building and engineering activities. A growing trend in most primary and secondary schools and definitely one of the most enjoyable in results, this workshops makes use of newspaper rolls to construct life sized structures. The introduction is about three dimensional shapes, how to design and build a stable, strong structure and the key skills they will use during the activity. The aim is to build a shelter big enough for a whole team to get into, within the time. In addition participants use their life skills like teamwork, communication, logical thinking and creativity.
Skills Gained: creativity + teamwork + enterprise + communication + cooperation + working to a deadline.
Duration: Half day or full day workshop.
