My journey in the Eastern Arts began in 1976 with Karate, then Aikido and Iaido. I was taught the Traditional (original) Peking Short Form by Bron Hipkin in Cambridge in the early '80s, who granted me permission to teach in 1993. Since 2000 I have attended every Summer School held at Lakes Tai Chi with Dee Swift and John Bolwell who rank amongst the best teachers that exist. Despite teaching for 30 years I find that by regularly becoming a student I can maintain a 'beginners mind'.
