I live in Banbury and although not currently teaching, I still work within education with Milton Keynes LA, training headteachers and administrators.
Furthermore, I have been tutoring Physics, Maths and GSCE Science approximately four days per week, after work, for the past 2 years.
I'm fun and approachable.
I love squash, golf, soccer and cycling... and boarding in the Winter!
To relax, I watch films and cook.
Teaching Experience:
Around 6-7 years experience both in the UK and abroad (China, USA and New Zealand).
Have taught in both Secondary and FE environments in Physics, Maths and IT.
Although not currently teaching in school, I am (as from June 2008) an Examiner for Edexcel for the GCE A Level Synoptic Physics Paper 6736 01.
This has vastly improved knowledge of my subject area, giving me a closer insight into the examining process and the standards required for an excellent grade.
I have taught Physics to A Level on numerous occasions but would consider GCSE/Key Stage 3 Science and any of the other subjects mentioned, if asked.
In addition, as I am currently Microsoft Certified, I would also consider tutoring IT.
Tutoring Approach:
Hardworking and flexible and resourceful with a mountain of material to choose from.
Can visit the tutee or can work from home.
