Getting moving (pictures)
We have had a few people tell us that they would like to see teachers introducing their classes on video. It's taken a little while, but we have now begun to include videos in our Specials. We are using Specials to try out new ways of doing things before we implement ideas across the site.
Teachfind
This site contains all of the now defunct Teachers TV videos plus loads of useful resources from other UK education sites.

Order of FAQ entries
I have entered some FAQ questions in my profile.
The entries are displayed in the reverse order to that input.
Is there a way to edit this order? I've looked but can't find anything. ,It would be good to have this facility and would make the FAQs more logical for the user.

4 channel Videoinstallation - extractThis is a youtube made version of a 4 channel video installation, that I developed for the exhibition Parasit, at the Gallery of Anita Beckers in Frankfurt. My project is called "Para-site" and deals with site-specific interventions in daily life around that city. Here is an extract out of the 15 Min. video. |
Some great French films
I bought a few French films on DVD the other day, all from the fifties and sixties and all superb. I'd recommend them all:
Le Trou - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0054407/
A prison break set in La Santé prison in Paris, most of the actors were not professionals.
Bob le Flambeur - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047892/
A casino heist. The main character Bob is a very suave, aging gambler.
Du rififi chez les hommes - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048021/
(also called just 'rififi')
A gangster film and another heist movie.
There is some great slang in these films too:
Unlimited Resources
Every member of School of Everything can add notes, links, videos, images, documents and other things to the site that help people learn or teach a particular subject. If you're learning, you can use it to keep track of your progress in your subjects and all the things that help you learn like useful websites or how-to videos.
If you're teaching, you can share useful resources and advice that you think will help people learn you subjects. You can tag each resource post with one or more subjects, and your posts will appear to other people looking for those subjects.
Don't be shy, say hello. We'd love to hear from you.
